I want to create more wonder in the world.

All design tells a story, but great design uses that story to connect us as people.

It shows not only what is possible, but who it is possible for us to be.

As a lifelong maker, I have a connection to the human scale, the tangible. I have big conceptual ideas, but what I value more is keeping sight of the fact that people and their stories are the point of both art and design. And that this is supposed to be fun.

Like art, design succeeds when (and only when) it has made someone feel something.

I know that one of my designs has succeeded when I hear that gasp of wonder and joy.
